2012 British Eventing Rule Book Now Online

The British Eventing Rule Book for 2012 is now available to download by clicking here. Please note that this is not the finished version but we wanted everyone to have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with new rules and dressage tests as soon as possible. The final copy will be ready shortly after Christmas and the rule book will be posted to members in the week beginning 17th January.

Michael Jung First and Second at Lignieres-en-Berry CCI2*
Lignieres-en-Berry, France
Germany's Michael Jung won the CCI2* at Lignieres-en-Berry, France this past weekend on Hoyer Anke's gelding Leopin FST. Finishing on a score of 41.6 and leading from start to finish Michael also placed second with a penalty score of 46.4 on Weidezaunprofi's River Of Joy who is owned by Renner Ralf. The CCI1* was won by New Zealand's Jonelle Richards on the Australian owned thoroughbred gelding Short Black.

Express Eventing 2011 Final at HOYS

Express Eventing, a fast-moving version of eventing - is set to stage its 2011 Final at Horse of the Year Show in Birmingham, England's LG Arena on Tuesday 4th October. Tattersalls 2011 Date Announced

Tattersalls Ireland have announced the 2012 Tattersalls International Horse Trials and Country Fair will take place from May 31st to June 3rd. General Manager Roger Casey observed: "The 2011 International Horse Trials saw record breaking crowds attending the Ratoath venue and represented a coming of age for this event in what was its sixth year."

New Arena At Plantation Field

Fernhill Classic

Australian rider Ryan Wood has offered Fernhill Classic the Hanoverian gelding imported from Ireland this past May for syndication. Ryan Wood is an Advanced level event rider who came to the states in 2008 to expand his eventing career by initially working for the legendary Bruce Davidson before joining Phillip Dutton at True Prospect Farm in West Grove, PA.

Whip Tavern Fundraiser
West Grove, PA, USA
Wednesday evening The Whip Tavern just down the road from True Prospect Farm hosted a successful fundraiser for Lillian Heard, Caitlin Silliman and Ryan Wood, who lost their homes and most of their personal possessions in the barn fire.
