2012 Olympics Eventing Manager
London, UK
A fantastic opportunity for an Eventing Manager has arisen within LOCOG which is the organisation responsible for planning and staging the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

There are currently 26 sports on the London 2012 Olympic programme and 20 sports on the Paralympic programme with athletes from 205 National Olympic Committees and 165 National Paralympic Committees competing. A total of 200 athletes are expected to participate in the Olympic Equestrian competition, across the three disciplines of Eventing, Dressage and Jumping, with a further 75 athletes participating in Paralympic Dressage.

The responsibilities of the Sport department include planning and organisation of the competitions, input into the briefs for venue design and development, Test Event planning and development of the competition schedule.

Managers will be appointed for each of the Equestrian disciplines over the next 12 months. The first of these is the Eventing Manager. Until all of the managers are appointed, the Eventing Manager may be required to work across all of the Equestrian disciplines.

The closing date for this is the 25th of May, for more information please log on to this link.
