Canadian Event Riders set to compete at NAJYRC

Canadian Eventing Committee is pleased to announce the teams that will represent Canada at the 2009 Adequan FEI North American Junior/Young Riders' Championships. Presented by Gotham North, these Championships will be held July 21-26 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, also the site of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.  Two divisions, Junior One Star Championships (open to riders aged 14 to 18) and Young Rider Two Star Championships (for riders ages 16-21), will compete for top team and individual honours.

Canada will field three teams, one in the Young Rider Two Star Championships and two in the Junior One Star Championships. Riders represent Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec and Ontario.
