British Eventing Teams Up With Mitsubishi Motors
British Eventing is growing its presence in the sport and developing its three year strategy to drive awareness and visibility. Part of this strategy is to develop the regional presence and the service to affiliated events via its team of Regional Directors.
An early step in shifting the BE brand presence is to link with Mitsubishi Motors to develop a fleet of branded L200 Warrior pick up trucks around the country. Delivered earlier this month and taking pride of place on the Mitsubishi stand at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, the Warriors will be seen at 192 events across the country during the season.
Mike Barnes, BE Commercial and Marketing Director says: "BE is a dominant force in the Sport and need to increase its presence at every event level.
"The new vehicles help that profile and more importantly, allow us to work with Mitsubishi in developing our brand in a professional and highly visible way."
Mitsubishi's new Managing Director, Lance Bradley, affirmed the company's commitment to British Eventing, saying: "We are hugely supportive of the aims and objectives of British Eventing and for all those involved in horse riding at every level. As we move into the next three years as main sponsor of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials and the new Mitsubishi Motors Grassroots Championships.
"We want to support BE at every opportunity to take the sport forwards - especially with the London 2012 Olympics just around the corner".
