Ontario Young Riders Technical Adviser Announced

The Ontario Horse Trails Association - Young Riders Committee has announced the appointment of Paige Lockton-Wilde as the Young Riders Technical Adviser for 2008.

Her innovative ideas and experience will enhance the progress of our up and coming Young Riders towards achieving their equestrian goals!" Linda Plank - 2008 Ontario Young Rider Program Coordinator.
Paige Lockton-Wilde graduated from the Ontario Young Riders Program after earning a team bronze at NAYRC in 1989, to successfully represent Canada in international competition for over a decade. Career highlights include: non-travelling reserve for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, 10th at the Gatcombe Park British Open, 12th at Blenheim CCI***, 16th at Fairhill CCI***, short listing for the 2002 WEG's and also include placings up to the Grand Prix level of Show Jumping. Her retirement from International competition in 2002 allowed her to further develop her coaching skills and introduce the sport of eventing to a broad range of students at Lockton Farms Summer Camps in Callander, Ontario. Through a lifetime dedicated to training with the most renowned horsemen in the world, Paige has developed a sound system of teaching and shares her enthusiasm for the sport with Pony Clubbers to International level riders.
