E. B. "Pip" Graham passed away on Saturday, October 20. Pip was one of the founders of the sport of eventing in Canada and led the development of the sport for many years. He was a member of the Canadian Equestrian Federation Executive Committee, an honourary member of Canadian Eventing, and acted as chef d'equipe of the Canadian Eventing Team in the late 1960's and early 1970's. An International Technical Delegate, he officiated at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul and was instrumental in the success of the 1976 Olympic Games in Bromont. Before he moved with his wife to British Columbia, the Grahams owned Graham Ranches, a long-time hub for eventing in Alberta. Pip's daughter, Juliet Graham, was a member of the Gold Medal Team at the 1978 World Championships.
