Tattersalls International Horse Trials 2007 - Sunday

A total wash out today made conditions very bad but there was a large turnout to watch the final day of Tattersalls International Horse Trials.
William Fox-Pitt (GBR) won the CCI** on Trinity Hill with a final score of only 45. Irish rider Elizabeth Power (IRL) on Kilpatrick River went clear in show jumping and finished in 2nd for best of the Irish. Andrew Nicholson (NZL) on Nereo moved up the table to 3rd and his other horse Epic went down to 6th position with 12 faults in the show jumping. Polly Stockton (GBR) came 4th on Westwood Poser. Zara Phillips (GBR) on Glenbuck finished in 9th position.
Andrew Nicholson (NZL) won the CCI* on Avebury moving up from 2nd position after cross country when going clear in Show Jumping with a total of 41.7 points. Behind him William Fox-Pitt (GBR) came 2nd and 3rd with his two mounts All That Jazz V and Imran II respectively. Matthew Wright (GBR) came fourth on Grove Joucas and Andrew Nicholson (NZL)'s out mount Mr. Cruise Control moved down to fifth with one fence down in the show-jumping. Sabine Florkemeirer (GER) on Cristall-Noir, the leader after cross country in this class had an unfortunate 8 faults and subsequently went down to 6th position.
