Coudray Awarded Land Rover Grant to Compete at Rolex Kentucky

Hard on the heels of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event accepting the entry of Tiana Coudray on Jatial, Inc.’s 2001 Irish Sport Horse gelding Ringwood Magister the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) have announced that Tiana has been awarded a Land Rover Grant to compete at the 2014 event.

Coudray, 25, has become a top U.S. rider on the international eventing scene in just a few years’ time. She first experienced international competition at the Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North in 2004 and 2008, earning the Junior Individual Silver medal in 2004. As she rose through the ranks, Coudray achieved numerous top placings at CIC and CCI competitions, including wins at the Galway Downs International CIC3* and the Jersey Fresh International CCI3* with Ringwood Magister in 2010.

Since the summer of 2011 she has been based in Gloucestershire, England, to compete and train in Europe. That fall, she received second-place honors at the Fidelity Blenheim Horse Trials CCI3*. In 2012, Courday represented the U.S. in her first Olympic Games. She followed this achievement with a 17th-place finish in the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials CCI4* and a 10th-palce finish at the Aachen CICO3*in 2013 with Ringwood Magister.
